Woven completely out of round reed, this one-of-a-kind handmade Wicker Dog Bed is offered for the true Prince or Princess in any home. After searching for a suitable bed for our own dog, I gave up and decided to make one myself and give it a few features not available on any of the dog beds currently on the market. These beds can be custom sized for any dog, from the smallest Yorkie to the largest Labrador. Built on a sturdy, reinforced Birch base, the platform is raised a good 6” to keep Old Brutus out of any cold draft that slipped in under the door.
 
I’ve chosen the Pineapple design on the carved bun feet to express the welcome and hospitality a good bed provides at the end of a long day of barking and chasing tennis balls. The Pineapple is a traditional Colonial motif found in architecture and vintage interiors across the country, and it fits perfectly with my Wicker Dog Bed.
 
Each pre-washed linen cushion/bolster is handmade by me in my studio on a wonderful old Pfaff industrial sewing machine. Composed of easy-care 55% linen and 45% cotton, it is completely removable and washable. A full length back zipper allows you to quickly toss it into the washer at the first hint of muddy paws. Fabric samples are available.
 
Also, if you care to supply your own fabric that complements your existing interiors, we are happy to accommodate your wishes.
 
The Wicker Dog Bed is a soft oval approximately 46”x 32” with an interior sleeping area of 32” x 24.” The cushion makes it cozy. Overall height on the dog bed is 16 inches.
 
For smaller pooches, please give us a call. Smaller beds are made and are NOT priced at custom rates. They are slightly less expensive than the larger beds. Since we design, construct and weave all the Wicker Dog Beds Tinay Studio offers, your custom fabrics, stains and finishes are welcomed at a separate fee schedule.
