Our Wicker Serving Trays are created to be used and loved, so every detail is carefully chosen — from the specially selected Indonesian reed, to the hardwood birch ply on which they're woven, down to the last brass escutchen pin. Our trays use a braided, five-strand edge border with brass finishing pins — not brads or staples. Every tray is completely handmade, and a multi-step hand-finishing process achieves both beauty and individual character; no two trays are exactly alike. The selected surface material is applied using an industrial epoxy — not tacks or metallic fasteners — ensuring a smooth, easy-to-wipe surface.

The surface materials we use are Leather, Maple or Madrona Veneer, Hammered Copper, and Stainless Steel. Our Leather tray is not sealed in any way; no waxes or oils are used on the leather surface. Each of our Burled or Quilted Veneers—Maple and Madrona from the Pacific Northwest— is hand-selected for the quality of pattern, and sealed for durability. Copper and Stainless Steel have been used in kitchen applications for years so we know they will withstand the numerous tea spills and cake crumbs that lay ahead!
